Characteristic:
- Mechanical strength: Very high, good force resistance and tensile strength.
- Transparency: Very transparent, suitable for packaging that requires high aesthetics.
- Chemical resistance: Resistant to many chemicals, especially grease.
- Melting temperature: About 250-260°C (482-500°F).
- PET plastic is considered to have the highest transparency
Applications: Drinking water bottles, soft drink bottles, food containers, polyester fibers in the textile industry, medical equipment.
